I Didn't Know

I didn't know that brewerkz sells such affordable beer! Only @ $4!
Yesterday, after a hot and frustrating day at work. I decided to chill out with a dear friend at brewerkz @ clarke quay. We had dinner and some drinks for the night. While ordering beer, I didnt know that drinking beer at brewerkz in the afternoon is so cheap!!! Before 4pm, every mug of beer only cost $4! $3.99 to be exact! Me ,the park officer who works just opposite was in big surprise! It was really worth the money for beers that are not commonly available everywhere in the supermarkets. Not only that, they even have an interesting sampling menu, which allow u to sample 4 types of beer out of the full range @ the price of $11.99! Wow!!
I enjoyed myself. The little glasses of beer and the big bowl of salad with lots of blue cheese! Really enjoyed myself with all the cheese, veggie and good company. Best of all, my friend was really wonderful to pay for my dinner. Really thankful...
Another place I had great food and paid forth (by my funny bro) was @ Greenwood. Typical Italian restaurant, with solo classical guitarist playing & singing from table to table. interesting pasta menu, with different sorts of pastas not commonly found in any normal western restaurant. What's best, the tiramisu dessert in the cup. Very rich n filling dessert, enough for 3-4 people to share. I had all by myself once and end up with indigestion the next day!
I'm thankful and grateful for all these good food and great people around me. Especially at work place...
F1 Rocks starts its 1st day of concert today. The qualifying rounds will start tomorrow. F1 Rocks really could rock the ass out of me. Although i had nothing much to do, I could not appreciate the noise, the mess and the damage that comes with it. Fort Canning is far too small for such an extensive set-up. I was not in the best of mood for 2 days, until today cos tomorrow will be friday already! Thank God, I had good colleagues who are there to support and to listen to my woes. After spending some time by myself @ lunch yesterday, sorted out my thoughts and now I'm better to carry on working ahead on my new portfolio, which starts in Oct.
I'm glad... I'm glad that things are unfolding itself slowly and clearer now. I'm thankful that You have given me the wisdom and strength to look beyond things and see a larger purpose or vision than what's happening now. I truly see that it's from You. Though the journey is not always smooth sailing or to my liking, I'm glad that You have caused me to see the good out of it. Yes. I am excited!!!

Lastly, I'm thankful for having enough time to sleep! That's my longest standing hobby. Sleeping enough and at the right timing really do alot of wonders to our bodies and our soul. With enough rest, our mind is clearer and bad emotions takes more time to get the better of us. And that includes bad thoughts too! Strangly, making decisions and ideas come easier too. Amazing! There's really a balanced point to everything. When we missed our balancing point, go chill our with some good friends, good food and good drinks! Yeah! Its Merry Time!!
